Abstract
This study analyzes the household consumption expenditure of switched sector workers and their family welfare in Palembang. In was study, the data used were cross section data using questionnaires. Analysis model in this study was multiple linier regressions. Three findings were found in this study. First, variables of workers’ revenue, education, and number of dependents had positive and significant influence on household consumption expenditure of switched sector workers. Second, workers’ revenue was still the largest contribution to the family revenue by 70.24 percent, since workers’ revenue was still the main revenue in the family. Thirdly, the largest percentage of the switched sector workers’ family categorized as “welfare” was 88 percent.
